When we say, from sex to samadhi, it doesn’t mean that with the help of the sex, you can attain to samadhi. It, also, doesn’t mean that, by indulging in sex, you can attain to samadhi. Not at all. ‘from-to’, is like a journey. It’s like travelling from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. Mumbai is one end and Ahmedabad is another end and the distance between these two ends is, what you need to travel or you need to complete, to reach to Ahmedabad. So, from sex to samadhi is a journey, in which one end or starting point is sex and other end or destination is samadhi. Why do I say that, sex is the starting point because sex is given to you. Sex is your current state, is your default state. Do you know what death is? I’m talking about natural death i.e. the death which happens of its own accord because of age. Death is a very painful process. Why this is so? Let me explain. Right now, when you are alive, your consciousness or chetana, because of which you are alive, is spread all over your body. Because your chetana is spread all over your body and hence your whole body is functioning and that’s why the feeling of pain whenever the body is hurt. We all know that, if chetana is not there in a certain part of the body then, in that part, we don’t feel any pain even if there is some injury in that place.
