SEX TO SAMADHI, IS A JOURNEY, FROM GROSS TO THE SUBTLE.

When we say, from sex to samadhi, it doesn’t mean that with the help of the sex, you can attain to samadhi. It, also, doesn’t mean that, by indulging in sex, you can attain to samadhi. Not at all. ‘from-to’, is like a journey. It’s like travelling from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. Mumbai is one end and Ahmedabad is another end and the distance between these two ends is, what you need to travel or you need to complete, to reach to Ahmedabad. So, from sex to samadhi is a journey, in which one end or starting point is sex and other end or destination is samadhi. Why do I say that, sex is the starting point because sex is given to you. Sex is your current state, is your default state. Right now, you exist in sex because sex is given to you, by the nature but for samadhi, you have to travel, you have to earn it; you have to strive; you have to make efforts for that.

Now, sex, doesn’t mean, the act which we usually understand and refer to. Not, at all.  Sex means, that which is physical. Whatever the physical you see, is nothing but sex only. This world is nothing but sex only because physical is a product of duality, meaning, that which is born out of two opposite energies and that which exists in duality. The physical can happen and exist in duality only. Duality means, opposites such as, day n night, male n female etc. Therefore, sex, means physical.

Thus, sex or physical is given to us by the nature, at the time of birth itself. Sex or physical is our default mode, in the sense that, we exist and we tend to exist here as physical, as a body because we take n assume, what’s given to us, as real. That’s the case, as of now, with most of the humanity. They exist here as physical or sex only. All their energies are spent in sex and for the sex, meaning, for the physical only. Right now, our energies are moving out, all the time, into the world by way of thoughts. Thoughts are physical because thoughts are about the physical or the bodies only. Please know, that there can’t be any thought for n about the nonphysical.

Thus, if we just exist in our current or default mode which is given to us by the nature, then we would exist here as a body n for the body only. All our energies, are being spent for ‘me’ n ‘mine’ only. ‘Mine’ means, your possessions and possessions are always physical and hence, your ‘mine’ is nothing but just an extension or expansion of ‘me’ only. In your current state, you are using, all your energies to expand or spread yourself around, meaning, you are living an horizontal existence. All the time, you are just using your energies to gather more n more physical possessions, around you, like a king, who expands his kingdom around or horizontally.

Horizontal existence is nothing but existing here as sex only. Your energies keep flowing out in the world through the sex centre. Now, this is the case with almost all human beings because living here as a sex or physical is very easy because it’s there all the time, you live or exist in physical all the time. You are habituated to the ways of the physical. But samadhi is a nonphysical state which you can earn, only, by striving, by your efforts, which is very rare. That’s the reason that Buddhas are a rare appearance. Gautamas n Mahaviras are born, once in thousands of years.

Why this is so? Because until n unless you become aware of other possibility, I mean, the possibility of samadhi you can’t strive for that. Most of the humanity, just take the given or current state as natural n hence, they live here as bodies n die as bodies only. They never knew or never became aware of the other possibility because the other possibility or samadhi is nonphysical state and becoming aware of nonphysical is not that easy. Physical can be seen with these eyes but these eyes cannot see that which is nonphysical. Thus, only if you become aware of the other dimension which we know as consciousness, awareness, stillness, divine or samadhi, whatever the name, then only, this journey from sex to samadhi can begin.

Journey to samadhi means, now, you don’t want to exist here horizontally, I mean, just for me n mine but now you want to grow vertically. You want to live a vertical existence. Now, you don’t want to waste your energies through the sex centre but now you want to conserve your energies so that the same can rise above or vertically. Movement of energy into the physical or the world is a waste, is just fizzling out. However, if you want to reach to the nonphysical state of samadhi i.e. you want to exist here, as nonphysical, while being in this body then, you must learn to retain the fizz or the energy within.

Retaining energy within is turning inward. If the energy stays within, then the same energy which otherwise would have dissipated into the sex or physical, now stays within n begins to rise or travel above, I mean, energy moves up vertically. Energy rising up or vertically is what a journey from sex to samadhi is. Horizontal existence is sex i.e. throwing your energies around for the physical is sex. The same energy, when retained within, is transformed from physical to nonphysical from, sex to samadhi. Energy moving up or vertically is transformation of the energy.

Now, being on the journey from sex to samadhi, doesn’t mean you give up your worldly duties or you move into jungles. No, it only means that you become still within. You do, whatever, you want or whatever needed but within, you are always ‘centered’. Being ‘centered’ means, turning inward i.e. stopping outward movement of energy n thus retaining energy or conservation of energy. So, all what you need to do to move from sex to samadhi, is to become still within, become ‘centered’ within.

If, you become still within, the outward movement of energy stops forthwith. Becoming still within means dissipation or leakage of energy stops and you become a pot of energy. When energy does not move out or does not find a way out then, it starts rising above or rising up and you begin to exist as nonphysical while being in the physical and that is what samadhi is. Samadhi is a no-mind state, meaning your mind is dissolved completely. Your ego or individuality is annihilated fully and what is left is the pure state, the original or innate state which is that, you exist here as pure presence, as pure awareness, as nonphysical.

Thus, samadhi is union with the divine, with the nonphysical. When this union happens at the level of the bodies or physical, we know it, as sex. However, when this union happens, at the nonphysical level or at the level of energy, we know it as samadhi. We know it as aatma ka parmatma se milan or shakti ka Shiv se milan. Thus, from sex to samadhi, is a journey from physical to nonphysical, from gross to subtle, from aatma to paramatma, from worldly to divine, from persona to the ‘Being’, from individuality to universality, from horizontal existence to vertical existence, from outward to inward etc. Meditation is gradual dissolution of your mind and meditation becoming your quality is samadhi. Meditation, finally culminates into samadhi.
