THE REALITY OF AN ONION IS………
Did you ever try, peeling an onion, layer by layer? Having removed all the layers, what is left behind? Nothing. This nothingness or emptiness is the reality of an onion which the onion gets to know only, after having gone through the pain of peeling. The onion, thus, could merge into the Source and become the Source itself i.e. the emptiness or nothingness, only after having lost its identity, as an onion. So long, it enjoyed its individuality, so long, it remained as an onion, it was separate from its Source. As an onion, it existed in a limited way, just a limited form but having lost its individuality, it now exists as the existence itself – boundless, limitless and shapeless. A river is a river and exists as a limited entity and hence, is separate from its Source i.e. the ocean. A river, thus, has the possibility of existing here, as the ocean, if it is ready to lose its individual form as a river. If, it loses its identity or individuality, as a river, then it disappears...
