TO BE IN ONE’S RELIGION (DHARMA) IS TO BE RELIGIOUS
To be religious is not, what we usually understand. What we usually understand, by being religious, is to follow an organized belief system; visiting religious places; reading scriptures; listening to religious discourses etc. But this is not being religious because, there is nothing of religion in it. Fundamentally, being religious is, to be established in one’s essential nature or in one’s religion ( dharma ) which beholds ( dharan karna ) you because, your nature is intrinsic to your existence, without which you just cannot imagine your existence. Your essential nature or religion is your chetana or consciousness which is integral to your existence which beholds you all the time. Without chetana or consciousness, your existence is not possible.
