DON’T MAKE NEW (YEAR) RESOLUTIONS. INSTEAD, LEARN TO BE FULLY RESOLVED WITHIN.
Don’t make new (year)
resolutions. Instead, learn to be fully
resolved within. Now, being resolved within, means you exist in tune, with
the existence, with the consciousness, which is your nature, your reality. In
fact, you need to make new resolutions, only, because you don’t know, as how to
be in tune, with this existence.
Do you see the existence on
the outside. This existence, is total silence, total stillness, because, it has
no intention, no agenda, no resolutions, of its own. Only, that which has no
resolutions, of its own, can alone be still and silent. Consciousness or
existence just exists and makes no resolutions of its own and yet all that
needs to happen, just happens effortlessly and without its doing. Because, the
existence has no resolutions or conflicts within, with anything on the outside
and that’s why, it’s always the same, always ‘as it is’ and always remains
untouched by all, that happens, in its very lap.
Because, we have our agenda,
our resolutions and that’s why, we never exist, in our nature, we never exist,
in tune with our existence. We always exist, as a movement. Movement is
physical, movement is noise, and is a disturbance to the stillness, to the
silence within. So, being resolved within, means, you learn to become more and
more silent and still within and thus you exist, here, in tune with your
nature, with your existence, because the same existence, the same
consciousness, which is the reality of this existence is functioning within
you, as well.
Now, existing here, as still
and silent or making no resolutions, doesn’t mean, that you will withdraw from
this world or you will shift your base to the jungles. Not at all. Being fully
resolved within, means, you continue doing all what you are doing and continue
living, where you currently live but within, you always remain connected to
your nature i.e. to the stillness and the silence within.
Identifying with the physical,
with the movement, is to exist here, as a noise as, a movement and hence, to
exist on the surface, because, movement is on the surface. But identifying or
connecting with the stillness within, is to exist here, in identification with
your ‘center’, in tune with your existence, in tune with your nature.
Making resolutions, i.e. having your own agenda or being in conflict with the outside, will thus keep you entangled with the physical, which in turn, will make you rooted in this body. But, existing here, fully resolved within, being in tune with this existence, will release you from this bodily existence. So, don’t make resolutions, don’t create conflicts and instead learn to be resolved within. Meditation is nothing but practicing silence, practicing stillness, practicing presence and hence, a technology for learning to stay resolved within, to stay here, without any resolution or conflicts with the outside.
