AS, THERE IS, PHYSICAL WELL-BEING, SO, THERE IS, SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING.

About physical well-being, we all know, very well, because all what we do in our wakefulness, is nothing but for our physical well-being only. In fact, this is all, what we are doing, in this physical world, all the time i.e. gathering more n more physical, which in turn, is making our life, comfortable and convenient. 

For physical well-being, no one has to teach us, because, this is, what’s given to us, by the nature, at the time of birth itself. Nature is interested in survival and perpetuation of creation only and hence, all our doings, by nature, are for physical well-being, for survival only. We usually work for our survival and for which, we use this body n mind. Thus, Physical well-being is taken care of, by the efforts, we make, during the course, of our living. 

Working for physical well-being, therefore, is, simple and straightforward. However, the point to understand, is that physical well-being, is physical in nature and hence, is limited to this body only. The physical, which we gather here, during the course of our living, thus, is relevant, to us, so long we last in this body. All the physical or worldly things, lose their significance and become irrelevant, to us, the moment, we leave this body. 

Physical well-being, thus, shouldn’t be confused for spiritual well-being, because, the two are not the same but entirely two different things. The spiritual well-being, is different, in the sense that spiritual well-being can’t and can never happen with or by our doings. This is for simple reason, that our reality is not this body, not this mind but our reality is energy, the consciousness of this existence and energy or consciousness IS. 

Energy just exists, as a being, as a presence and thus, energy by nature is free. Energy or consciousness is not limited to a form, as is the case with us now. The energy within, is bound to this body, limited to this body and thus exists in a limited, in a restricted way, as against its original nature of freedom. So, all what we know and do in the name of spiritual well-being, such as, going to the temples, reading religious texts or listening to the religious sermons has nothing to do with spiritual well-being. Because, they all, are our doings, with this body and mind and a doing can never touch the energy, the non-physical dimension. 

The only way to the spiritual well-being, is to access your energy and you can access your energy only by keeping it free. Keeping your consciousness free, within, is to access or transform your energy.  Your doing with this body and mind, keeps this energy bound to this body but keeping your energy free from all identifications, is to free this energy from this body, from this physical existence. Because, energy would want to exist in its original nature i.e. it would want to exist as energy of this existence, which is limitless, formless and boundless. 

So long, the energy is kept tied or bound to a form, I mean, to this body, the energy doesn’t exist in its original nature of freedom. The spiritual well-being, therefore, can happen and arise only when you keep your consciousness or energy free within i.e. you don’t’ keep it tied to the physical, not identified with the physical. Identification with the physical is bondage but keeping it free without any identification, is freedom and hence, the spiritual well-being. 

Please know, that spiritual well-being is at the level of energy and hence a transformation of energy. Transformation is ever-lasting, permanent and hence, it stays with you, even after your death, unlike physical well-being, which lasts until this body lasts. So, for spiritual well-being to happen, please learn to keep your consciousness, your energy free and your energy is free, only, when you exist here, as a being, as a presence only i.e. without any identification or entanglement with the physical. Identification of energy with this body, with the physical is, physical well-being but freeing this energy from all identifications, is spiritual well-being. Meditation is nothing but learning to keep your energy free from physical identifications and hence a technique for spiritual well-being.
