THE ONLY THING NEEDED TO KNOW ‘WHO AM I’ IS…….

Yes, you read it right. To know, ‘Who Am I’, the only thing needed is stillness. Yes, I repeat, it is stillness and stillness only and nothing else. This stillness which I am talking about is of the mind. If you become still within i.e. your mind becomes still then you will know who you are; you will be face-to-face with what we know as divine or truth. Why so? Because stillness is the quality of this existence, stillness is the heart of this existence and hence stillness is divine and only by becoming that or having the same quality which is the quality of this existence, you can know the existence or the divine.   Mind is movement and consciousness is stillness. What we need to know and understand is that consciousness and mind are, two sides of the same coin. One side is movement i.e. consciousness in action and the other side is stillness i.e. absence of action in consciousness. Mind, when stilled is the same consciousness or energy of this existence. This energy is the unde...

AWARENESS IS LIKE PLAYING A GAME OF KHO-KHO I.E. ‘TOUCH N GO’

Have you ever played or seen playing others the game of Kho-Kho ? Game of Kho-Kho is a game of touch n go. What a player really does in this game is that he just touches one of the players, sitting in the circle and runs away promptly. He does not do anything more than that. He does not cling to or catches hold of the other guy. If he does that then he goes against the rules of the game and he is immediately declared out of the game.   Similarly, awareness, which is our reality, too is like playing a game of Kho-Kho with life i.e. just touch n go. Whatever the movement – within and without – which you come across, you just become aware of that and leave it there and just move on with life. You do not do anything more than that. Doing beyond i.e. doing more than becoming aware is your doing; your mental nonsense or your ego. For example, you looked at a tree. Now, you just becoming aware of that which appeared on the screen of your consciousness is what awareness or knowing is. Y...

SPIRITUALITY IS LIKE BURSTING YOUR OWN BALLOON BEFORE TIME

Did you see that a balloon which initially, though, is full of air but in couple of days’ times, the same balloon is found to be deflated on its own, without your doing? This happens because slowly and gradually, air goes off the balloon . This is one way to deflate the balloon. The other way is that you can burst if off, on your own, instead of leaving it to deflate at its own pace. First, is what happens naturally and second is what you do to the balloon, before time. Spirituality is exactly like that, which is to burst your balloon by your own doing, before time. This body is nothing but a balloon, in which is caged consciousness or chetana which is our reality and reality of whatever we see around us. The whole existence is nothing but just a manifestation of the same consciousness only. The one way which is the most common and also is the nature’s way is that, receding or declining of this chetana or energy, from this body, happens at its own pace, slowly and gradually. This...
